Don Bellamy is a 1978 graduate of Colorado State University with a dual degree in Agricultural Business and Economics. Don recently retired from a 42 year career in the Ag finance business with Northwest Farm Credit Services and Bank of America. Career roles included Regional Vice President – Community Lending for Western Montana and East Idaho; VP Operations - Commercial Lending; VP Credit Approval for Eastern Montana and VP supervising the Young, Beginning and Small Ag Vision Program for NWFCS.
Additional Background
- Member of the Gettysburg Foundation and an Associate member of the Association of Licensed Battlefield Guides.
- Principal of his own historical research and advocacy consultancy focused on US military history, battlefield preservation and awareness.
- Emeritus founder and business executive for the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association affiliated with the National Cowboy Museum and emeritus business executive for the Cowboy Artists of America.
- Owner and operator of a small historic farm in Palmyra, Virginia as well as his ranch property in North Fork, Idaho.
